Zoom plugin problem with alpha channel sources

If the Zoom plugin is used on an image source with an alpha channel, the edges of the alpha will stay behind (don't know if that could be a separate switch since it does not always look bad).

Re: Zoom plugin problem with alpha channel sources

Not sure I'm seeing what you are, this is the 'Zoom' effect. The simple one added recently.

This looks like it's actually working as designed, but maybe not as expected.

the FX chain, is just that, a chain where each effect is mixed onto the previous output. In this case I can see the prev output and its alpha under the new zoomed output and it alpha. Which is correct, and if I chain another Zoom, it continues again seeing the previous output in the alpha gaps.

I think the best I can do with this is rewrite the plugin and add options to  "this|drop|prev|mix"  alpha for this stage, but I cant force the alpha back up the chain.

this will not be ready for a little while.

Re: Zoom plugin problem with alpha channel sources

Yep this looks wrong, but its not the plugin in the fx chain mixer, working on it
