User Option allow empty slot trigger

When enabled would allow the triggering of an empty slot to cause the same effect as if triggering a loaded slot, e.g. cause a slot already  running on the layer to stop, although in this case nothing would replace it.

not sure about this one yet.

A major problem with this is it will break the 'video chords' behavior, unless I add the ability to have 'playing' empty slots.

This is quite deep, but is being reviewed again as it connects to the request to have empty slots behavior more like standard slots.

This really doesn't work well. Temp triggering an 'empty slot' via midi and causing the screen to blank feels very wrong.

Also, having a 'playing' empty slot doesn't sit right for me.

It's a lot of delicate work to put this in optionally, so I'm not going to chase this for now.
