Over sensitive mouse

Using the interface controls can be difficult for some people? Georg reported over sensitive mouse movement.

I think this is something to do with high DPI mice and the mouse acceleration, I'm not seeing it locally, need more reports.

esp: Desktop setup and mouse type

Re: Over sensitive mouse

Since there is no mouse acceleration setting in ubuntu, I used gnome tweak tool to switch the acceleration profile from default to flat (="off"), but that did not help.
It is too sensitive with the touchscreen, the touchpad and my logitech wireless mouse (~4 years old).
For example, in the plugin Kaleidoscope, to move the Mirrors slider from min to max
- touchpad: 8mm (with different speed setting)
- touchscreen: 5mm
- mouse 5mm
Also tried it with an >15 years old logitech wired mouse, and it takes approx. 2 cm to go from min to max, which is reasonable.

Re: Over sensitive mouse

I'll try and add in some type of mouse sensitivity setting, as I can't think of any else to do.

Re: Over sensitive mouse

Thanks!
Just to prevent misunderstanding: navigating around the UI is flawless, it is just about the sliders, so the sensitivity setting would have to apply to sliders only.
